When the devil was tempting Jesus, we find in Luke 4:5:”And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.” I find “a moment of time.” intriguing.
In the original Greek, and uniquely to the book of Luke, the text has a dot made by a pointed instrument, apparently meaning a single point of time. Why a dot instead of Greek spelling out “a moment in time?” How brief was that moment? That’s one of my questions for Jesus when I get to heaven.
