My wife and I have been building an office. We used a shed, had electrical installed, and are now working on the interior. It’s small but big for a prayer closet.
I’ll be praying, studying, writing, and perhaps doing some technical stuff in this office. It’s healing to have a place where you can get alone with God – no interruptions!
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matthew 6:6 ESV)
You don’t need an office of your own to get alone with the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, but you do need a place where you can go to be alone with our God. Just ask Him, and He will show you a place for you. You’ll never regret it.
