To commune with God’s celestial beings, to come into the home that Jesus prepared for us, to rest in the perfection and sovereignty of God, that is our gift as God’s citizen.

You see, we were created to do the good works (i.e., deeds) that God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). We can only do these good works if we are saved and we are doing our work by faith.
