You Are Not a Leftover

Okay, I have an encouraging message for you.

Do you remember the account of Jesus feeding the 5,000? It is another example of Jesus’ authority over all that was created through Him (John 1:3). Well, after everyone had eaten and was full, He had His disciples “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.” (John 6:12)

There have been times when I have felt like a leftover, like no one wanted me, like I had no value. Perhaps you have had or are having these same feelings. Be encouraged and feel God’s love! People thought the leftovers were fit for a trash can, but Jesus saw their value and made sure that all was gathered up and that nothing was wasted.

Jesus loves us. You are not a leftover. You are valued by the King of kings and Lord of lords. Trust Him. He will make your life matter.
